What is your deal? I've read most of the posts regarding Z1 and other vendors here, and although Z1 has probably had more negative posts than any other vendor, it's mostly because Z1 deals with more used mechanical parts than any other vendor, and probably a wider range of consumers(current OP is case in point). And with that many young, uneducated speed-freaks trying to buy their way to 10sec 1/4mile times using their lunch money, I'm not surprised to see a few people complaining when their $6000 parts assembled in Billy Bob's garage doesn't result in a record-breaking drag car. Quite frankly, nearly every single one of the posts I've read where someone came on here flaming Z1 resulted in the poster looking like a moron and Z1 digging them out of a hole. I've had my problems with Z1, but it was always something between me and Z1, and I was always able to resolve it with a call or email to Russell or Robert. Why in the freakin' world would you come on here and badmouth them without them even knowing there's a problem. And regarding this particular incident, I don't think the buyer had a clue. I don't think he knew the first thing about what he was getting into, and it sounds like he doesn't even know how to do a compression or leakdown test. He certainly doesn't know the first thing about buying a clip. So, don't you have anything better to do than refresh the members online page to see what Robert, John, and Russell are doing? Maybe help the original poster by contacting him and letting him know how to do a compression test. Or maybe you could enlighten us as to what your beef is with Z1. Quite frankly, I've seen very few legit complaints on here. And this certainly isn't one of them.
